In this episode of From the Blockchain, Ashley (Bored Becky) is joined by guest Laura Rodriguez, co-founder of The Miami Ape LLC, a Web3 Consulting and Media Company. Laura is an advisor, social impact advocate, and community builder with a master's in social work and over 11 years of experience working as a mental health advocate. She is also a sought-out and renown speaker with a worldwide audience, as well as an experienced live show host who has been featured on live national television in Spanish as an educator and expert about NFTs and Web3, and featured on Forbes as one of 10 must follow influencers in the LATAM space. In the Fall of 2022, Laura was selected as a Bored Ape Yacht Club Community Council Member, as a Proud holder of BAYC 9300. Laura was also Nominated for the WOW awards of World of Women for 'Impact in Web3 Education' in October 2022.

As an advocate for NFTs, Laura seeks to educate people about the potential of this new technology, and she wants to bring awareness to Latin America and minority groups about the opportunities available in Web 3. For this purpose, Laura also Founded a community of “Latinos en Web 3” with over 2.5K members, where she hosts online and in person meet ups with the community. Laura has worked as a volunteer with several non-profits and is now looking to onboard them into the web 3 space. Her goal is to use her social media platforms as a content creator to empower artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, and anyone looking to innovate and enter this rapidly growing industry.
